Two people suffered minor injuries in a crash in a McDonald’s parking lot Tuesday afternoon, police said

There were no criminal charges as of Thursday.

Montgomery County Police said Thursday they were still investigating a Tuesday afternoon crash in the McDonald’s parking lot at the Montgomery Commons Shopping Center when an SUV flipped onto its side.

Police said the collision involved a 2012 Kia Optima and a 2019 Honda Accord Crosstour at the 1400 Welsh Road shopping center at 2:30 p.m.

Police said two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Grand View Hospital by VMSC EMS.

The scene was cleared at 3:31 p.m., and five Montgomery County Police units responded to the crash, police said.

There were no criminal charges as of Thursday.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
