Man Injured in Stabbing Incident in Somerset

Police are investigating a stabbing in Somerset in which a man suffered “neck and facial injuries that are not considered life-threatening”.

A police spokesman said: “Shortly after 10pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, police attended Mr. He received a report of a stabbing near the Chicken store.

“Officers were dispatched to the scene and upon arrival were informed that the victim, a male, had been transported to hospital by private vehicle.

“The Emergency Medical Services team later contacted the police and reported that the injured person was met on the road by an ambulance and taken into care.

“The victim is said to have non-life-threatening injuries to his neck and face. At last check, his treatment continued at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the main police number at 295-0011 or provide this information to a police officer you are comfortable speaking to.
