A pair of tuxedo cat siblings died in separate road accidents in Marine Parade within days.

The first cat, BatBat, died after being hit by a vehicle on November 16.

And just two days later, his brother passed away in the same way, in the same place.

The tragic series of events was shared on the community cat page on Facebook. Sea Terrace Cats.

Feeders are currently seeking witnesses or photographs and footage of the events.

first death

On November 16, BatBat was allegedly hit by a car and disappeared around midnight.

Witnesses saw a tuxedo cat hit by a car traveling “too fast” along the road, according to the post.

However, when confronted by passers-by, the driver allegedly insisted that he had not hit the cat and appeared angry.

A police report was filed after a witness stated that the driver “intentionally (speeded).”

The fosters then expressed their desire to find his brother a home “so he can avoid the same fate” and asked for potential fosters or adopters to come forward.

second death

However, on November 18, just two days later, BatBat’s brother died in another traffic accident in the evening.

The post stated that he had not eaten for the past few days and was calling his brother.

Earlier that evening, his feeder was “very happy” when he saw her walking towards him and eating his dinner.

However, about half an hour later, while he was feeding other cats nearby, he heard a noise.

He went there and saw the cat’s body lying on the road.

“We’re not sure what caused him to come back to the same spot and get into a traffic accident. We’re still trying to find out exactly what happened from people around him,” the page said.

They added that they had recently found a foster or adopter for the grieving cat and were “very close to bringing him back.”
