New York Mayor Eric Adams stands by calls for half-hearted intervention devotion of mentally ill homeless people Thursday on CNN.

“Situation Room” host Wolf Blitzer asked Adams a question last fatal stabbing incident that killed three people in his own city. “Our city’s success has been overshadowed by random acts of violence, many of which are associated with people with serious mental health issues. We need stronger laws that allow for so-called involuntary removals. People who are a danger to themselves, and Adams said, “If they are a danger to others, they can involuntarily remove them.” “We need to be able to take action to get them off the streets,” he said.
