ALPINE (CNS) – Two students at Shadow Hills Elementary School were suspended Friday after they were suspected of making threats against a group of students and teachers, which were later determined not to be credible, the Alpine Sheriff’s Station said Friday.

Sheriff’s officials said in a statement that at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s office was notified by Shadow Hills administration that two students had allegedly made threats against students and teachers.

In the statement, it was stated that managers identified the suspects, their families were contacted by deputies and home security checks were carried out. The school suspended two students.
