Video of ‘alleged assault’ among students in Patriot High School locker room circulates

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. – A video showing an “alleged assault” in the Patriot High School locker room is circulating on social media.

A new video of the locker room incident is under investigation, according to school administration. The video shows five to seven students wearing athletic gear and football gear involved in what administrators described as an “alleged assault.”

A letter detailing the inappropriate incident was sent to parents. Read the full statement below:

Dear Patriot High School Families;

We learned that a video showing an alleged attack in our school’s locker room was circulating on social media. The behavior depicted in the video is unacceptable and does not reflect the values ​​and standards of our school community.

Upon learning of the incident, PWCS immediately launched a comprehensive investigation, including law enforcement. We are working closely with all parties involved, including students, parents and staff, to address the situation appropriately. Disciplinary actions will be taken in accordance with our school’s code of conduct.

Our primary concern is the welfare and safety of all our students. We are committed to cultivating a respectful and supportive environment. We appreciate our community’s cooperation and understanding as we navigate this challenging situation. We will continue to provide updates as needed and encourage anyone with more information to come forward and report the information to the Prince William County Police Department.
