Apple started sales today certified refurbished iPad 10 models via its US online store for the first time since the device’s launch in October 2022.

In May, Apple dropped the starting price of the iPad 10 in the US to $349, with an additional 15% discount on renewed models, dropping the starting price to $299. 256 GB models are sold for $419, down from $499 new.

The renewed iPad 10 models are not yet available in the other countries we reviewed.

Apple says its refurbished iPads include a new battery and shell, a new white box, and all manuals and accessories, including a USB-C charging cable and power adapter. Apple says it puts refurbished devices through a “thorough cleaning process and review” and performs full functionality tests to ensure there are no defective units.

All refurbished iPads are covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty and 14-day return policy and are eligible for AppleCare+ coverage.
