Other deputies honored the deceased Harris County Pct. 5 deputy and daughter after fatal I-10 crash

HOUSTON – Harris County Precinct 5 deputies gathered at the scene of a crash on the Katy Expressway Friday morning where fellow officer Katherine Hutson and her daughter Kacey were killed.

A three-vehicle collision that occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the 6500 block of Katy Freeway Westbound left one of the vehicles fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived.

Hutson and Kacey were pronounced dead at the scene.
