Real Madrid star will receive a one-match suspension if he receives a yellow card against Leganés

Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. will have to walk the disciplinary tightrope in the club’s next game.

This comes as the Brazil international is just one yellow card away from a La Liga suspension.

The issue of Vinícius’ disciplinary problems has of course continued to be front and center in Spanish football headlines throughout the season.

This comes as the 24-year-old continues to frustrate fans, pundits and the media with his on-field antics.

Vinícius, who has played 17 times in all competitions to date, received yellow cards seven times.

This includes four yellow cards in the league; the most recent was late last month, en route to defeat by Barcelona in El Clásico.

And as mentioned above, this means Real’s star man will have to watch his step on Sunday evening.

If Vinícius receives another yellow card against Leganés within 24 hours, he will be punished with a one-match La Liga ban.
