Woman dies in quad bike crash on farm near Daylesford

Worksafe is investigating the death of a woman in an off-road vehicle crash on a farm near Daylesford in Melbourne’s northwest.

Police said the 52-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled over around 7pm on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the property on Clunes-Daylesford Road in Ullina but were unable to resuscitate the woman.

No one else was injured.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner and WorkSafe is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

This is the third death from an ATV crash on a rural Victoria property in the past two months.

In October, a man and a child were killed when a car carrying four people overturned on private property in Tubbut, near the New South Wales border in Victoria’s far east.
