Actress Mukesh takes U-turn to pursue sexual harassment complaint against Jayasurya and others

Speaking to Mathrubhumi on Sunday, he emphasized that the decision to pursue the cases was in the interest of justice.

Earlier, the actor had publicly announced his decision to withdraw his complaints on social media due to lack of support from the government. The actor claimed that he was determined in his quest for justice.

Regarding the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) case filed against him following a complaint by one of his daughter’s relatives, the actor reiterated his innocence and said that he provided financial support to that relative and helped her when she expressed her concerns about a person. He was allegedly following her with the intention of throwing acid on her. The actor claimed that he was the one who alerted the authorities and protected the girl from him.

A complaint was made to all relevant authorities, requesting the necessary investigation into the incident. However, he claimed that no precautions were taken. The actor stated that it should be investigated whether anyone he complained about was involved in the incident. He also revealed that after all this time, he has now decided to come forward and explain everything only for the good of society. He added that he wishes no one would have to endure a similar situation in the future.

According to the statement of the minor girl, the actor took her and her mother to Chennai in 2014 on the pretext of choosing her. There, the actress allegedly tried to hand over the girl to several people in a hotel. The complaint also alleged that the actress had ties to a sex trafficking ring. In response, Muvattupuzha Police registered a case under the POCSO Act against the actor.
