Spiritual leader Kripalu Maharaj’s 75-year-old daughter died in a traffic accident

The elder daughter of spiritual leader Jagatguru Kripalu Maharaj died when her car was hit by a truck here on Sunday, while her two other sisters were seriously injured. According to police, 75-year-old Vishakha Tripathi, along with her two younger sisters and five others, drove away in two cars on Sunday morning. They were traveling from Vrindavan to Delhi via the Yamuna Express Route. “From there, they would go to Singapore for personal business,” a senior police official said.

The victims were admitted to hospitals in Noida and Delhi for treatment, the spokesperson said. “Soon after the accident, a police team reached the spot and took the injured to Kailash Hospital in Noida, where Vishakha breathed her last while receiving treatment,” a police official said, adding that the police sent the body for autopsy.

Those injured in the traffic accident include 35-year-old Deepak, 57-year-old Sanjay Malik, 40-year-old Januka Khadka, 53-year-old Kashmira Patel and 56-year-old Hansa Patel. Khadka and Kashmira are sisters.
