Motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident in Shively

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – One person is in the hospital following a crash in Shively Sunday evening.

Shively Police responded to the scene of an accident that occurred when a vehicle and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of 7th Street and Arcade Boulevard.

The motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital.

All parties will be held accountable and no criminal charges are anticipated.

Shively PD says drivers should expect traffic delays over the next hour.
