(Society)Police summoned Moon Da-hye on ‘illegal accommodation business charges’ on the 23rd.

Police are investigating allegations that former President Moon Jae In’s daughter, Moon Da-hye, illegally operated accommodation facilities called Moon on the 23rd.

Woo Jong-soo, head of the National Investigation Division of the National Police Agency, said at the regular press conference held today (25th) that Moon is cooperating with the investigation.

Moon is accused of illegally operating an office hotel and villa in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, as Airbnb shared accommodation without registering it as a lodging business.

Police added that they received a search warrant for Airbnb, but did not physically execute it because their headquarters were not in South Korea, and asked the company to cooperate based on that.

Early on the 15th, Moon was sent to the prosecutor’s office on charges of operating a detached house as a shared accommodation facility in Hallim-eup, Jeju, without registration of the accommodation business.
