Oxford man charged with residential burglary

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford man is charged with Residential Burglary.

On Nov. 14, an Oxford Police Department sergeant responded to a report of suspicious activity at a home on Chickasaw Road.

The sergeant approached the backyard gate and heard a noise.
tampered with the window and later discovered a suspect.

Quentin Maynor, 32, tried to escape but was eventually arrested and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center.

His bond is set by the Municipal Court Judge.

There was a broken window and signs of forced entry, including items such as a visor and black shoes near the window.

The officer also found a phone and keychain, which were collected as evidence.
