York murder investigation: Four arrested after man died and two injured

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died and two others were injured at a house in York, police said.

North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to an address on Vyner Street in the Haxby Road area of ​​the city at 19:20 GMT on Saturday.

A man in his 20s and a man in his 30s, both from the York area, were arrested on suspicion of murder, while a woman in her 30s and a man in his 60s were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Det Supt Fran Naughton said additional patrols were deployed in the area following the incident.
