But according to the website, there were four other locations that were closed that were no longer closed. Big Lots customer service also confirmed it. Here is a list of them:

  1. Augusta: 2708 Peach Orchard Road.
  2. Cartersville: 160 Market Square
  3. Douglasville: 2842 Chapel Hill Rd.
  4. Kennesaw: 4200 Wade Green Rd.

  2. Duluth: 2950 Enterprise Drive
  3. Lawrenceville: 250 Grayson Road.

  5. Union City: 6851 Shannon Pkwy.

Several other locations in Georgia also closed earlier this year.

Why is Big Lots closing?

The retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this year and has announced several waves of closures since then. The retailer is closing 49 more locations nationwide, on top of the nearly 300 closures announced in August, according to a bankruptcy court filing filed in late September.

Is Big Lots having a ‘going out of business’ sale?

Yes, merchandise sales are ending at most of the above locations. Some sales have 60 to 70 percent off. Check their website for the latest offers.
