Dubai’s Global Women’s Forum will attract more than 4,000 participants

Global Women’s Forum will take place at Madinat Jumeirah dubai More than 4,000 participants are expected to attend the event on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The two-day event, held for the third time, aims to provide solutions to problems. gender inequality and promoting women’s empowerment worldwide.

On Monday, Sheikha Manal bint MuhammadChairman of the Gender Balance Council and Dubai Women’s Organization acknowledged their contributions Sheikha Fatima bint MubarakMother of the Nation, with the aim of promoting women empowerment in the UAE.

Sheikha Manal also hosted guests including Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Pakistani politician and daughter of the country’s President Asif Ali Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and Iceland’s former First Lady Eliza Reid. Senior officials and leaders of global organizations are also expected to attend.

The event, which will feature 130 discussions and workshops as well as more than 250 speakers from 65 countries, will address issues such as gender inequality, digital inequality and the effects of global crises on women.

Sheikha Manal said, “The UAE is committed to promoting global progress in women’s empowerment and sharing its successful experiences in this field.” he said. “Our leadership has provided unprecedented support and enacted legislation to ensure women’s positive participation in the development process.”
