Georgia Wide Receiver Colbie Young Returns to the Team

The Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver returned to practice with the team following his suspension.

Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Cobie Young has returned to practice with the Bulldogs following his suspension for assault and battery. The victim involved in the incident later recanted his initial statement. The suspension causes Young to miss several games during the 2024 regular season.

While Young returned to the Bulldogs in training. Sources indicate he is not expected to play in Georgia’s regular season finale against Georgia Tech or in the Dawgs’ SEC Championship game against Texas A&M or Texas.

Young appeared in five games before his suspension, catching 11 passes for a total of 149 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulldogs’ return to the offensive lineup could be huge as the Dawgs prepare for a postseason push in the College Football Playoff.
