2 suspects for attempted murder in Napa stabbing incident

A fight broke out outside a residence in the 1600 block of Pueblo Boulevard early Saturday before a man was stabbed multiple times. The location was about a half-mile north of Napa High School, Napa police Lt. Chris Pacheco said Monday.

Two Napa brothers were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in the city early Saturday left another man “seriously injured,” police said.

Authorities identified these people as Ignacio Castro and Cruz Castro.

A fight occurred before the man was stabbed multiple times outside a residence in the 1600 block of Pueblo Avenue, about a half-mile north of Napa High School, Napa police Lt. Chris Pacheco told The Press Democrat on Monday.

Police responded to the scene just after 3 a.m. Saturday and found the male victim, who was taken to a local hospital. department newsletter.

Police seized a knife from Cruz Castro’s possession, Pacheco said.

He added that Ignacio Castro was arrested because “there was evidence that he was involved and involved.”

Pacheco did not elaborate on the evidence.

Ignacio Castro, 31, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and violating post-release community supervision, while Cruz Castro, 35, is suspected of attempted murder and violating his parole, according to county records.

Both were booked into the Napa County jail and are being held without bail. As of Monday afternoon, no charges had been filed in Napa County Superior Court. court website.
