UFC Lightweight Rafael Fiziev has some strong opinions on this subject Conor McGregor‘s legal case.

A civil court jury in Dublin found millionaire MMA fighter McGregor liable for sexually assaulting a woman named Nikita Hand at a hotel in December 2018 after a night of partying and cocaine use.

Hand claimed McGregor forced her into bed after she said she didn’t want to have sex. McGregor has denied the sexual assault accusations and plans to appeal the court decision ordering the Irishman to pay Hand an estimated $250,000 in damages.

UFC Star Conor McGregor Regrets Sexual Assault Decision – “I Made a Mistake”

A lot of people are speaking out in McGregor’s case, including 11th-ranked lightweight contender Rafael Fiziev, who refuses to believe McGregor raped Hand.

“I don’t believe this nonsense,” Fiziev said Dispatch Radio (hour: House of Fight). “I guess when people have a lot of money like her, when she’s got money, when she’s excited, when she’s got fame, all those things… Sometimes you shoot a woman and she’s a bombshell, you know. You want to spend a night with her, but she wants to ruin your life.”

The term “gold digger” was used as a label for Hand by McGregor’s lawyer, and McGregor stated that his allegations were fabricated. McGregor claimed to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday that their sex was consensual.

“I think he’s not staying in a good place and in a good time,” Fiziev said of the 2018 McGregor. “I think the lady will report him because she wants something from him. That’s why I don’t believe such stories because sometimes people like to lie because of money.”

Fiziev’s comments about McGregor were met with great reaction online.

Conor McGregor’s PR has suffered a blow as a result of the court case decision, losing his first brand deal yesterday and dropping Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey (which it sold to Proximo Spirits in 2021) has been pulled from select store shelves. In the UK this week, according to a new report Metro.
