One dead in triple car crash near 35th Street and Brown Avenue in Milwaukee

Milwaukee police say they are searching for a known suspect after one person was killed and two others were injured in a crash Monday night.

The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. near 35th Street and Brown Avenue. Police say a 23-year-old driver hit one vehicle, which then hit another.

It was determined that the 44-year-old driver of the first car that hit him died at the scene. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Shelly Green.

A passenger in the car that caused the accident was taken to the hospital without any fatal injuries. The driver of the third vehicle involved in the accident was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
