Google connects Spotify to Gemini AI assistant

Spotify is gaining support for Google’s Gemini Extensions, which allow users to search and play music using the generative AI assistant with natural language requests. Gemini can play music found by song titles, artist names, album names, playlist names, or for a specific event, but it does not currently create playlists or radio stations on Spotify.
