LPD says 19-year-old arrested after making bomb threat on social media

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department said a 19-year-old teenager who made a bomb threat on Instagram was arrested.

According to authorities, police responded to an alleged bomb threat at 8:50 a.m. at the J Crew Customer Service and Distribution Center on Ivy Cres Road.

After receiving the report, LPD was able to contact the person who sent the threat.

After an extensive investigation, police arrested 19-year-old Nakayla Foster, a part-time employee at the facility, in connection with the incident.

The following accusations were made against Foster:

  • Arson, Explosive and Bomb Threats under the law for criminals aged 15 and over
