Beaverton man allegedly hits grandfather with baseball bat, charged with attempted murder

PORTLAND, ore. (KOIN) – A Beaverton man was arrested for attempted murder after authorities tipped him off to hit his grandfather with a baseball bat, deputies said.

Peter Stine, 26, faces attempted murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges after his grandfather suffered “significant trauma to the head.”

The search for Susan Lane-Fournier enters its fourth day

The victim is at 17000 NW Joscelyn St. He was transported from his home to a local hospital. Authorities said he is expected to survive.
