The investigation into the alleged murder of an Assamese vlogger by his mistress has revealed that the killer spent two days with Maya Gogoi’s body at a service flat in Bengaluru, police sources said on Wednesday.

The shocking incident came to light on Tuesday in Indiranagar police station limits.

The investigation so far has revealed She said that her alleged boyfriend, murderer Aarav Hanoy, spent two days with Maya Gogoi’s body and spent most of the time sitting in front of the body and smoking.

After taking a taxi from the service office, Aarav Hanoy reached Majestic area in Bengaluru’s Central Business District and then switched off his phone.

According to police, deceased vlogger Maya was living with her sister in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout.

Maya had called her sister and told her that she would not be coming home on Friday because she was going to attend an office party.

Then, on Saturday, he sent another message saying that he would not come home that night because he was partying.

Maya’s sister told the police that Aarav and Maya were in a relationship for the last six months after they met through social media.

They entered the service office on Saturday, and upon initial examination, it was revealed that the defendant brought a knife with him when he entered the service apartment. He had also purchased a nylon rope online.

Police sources stated that the defendant stabbed Maya to death after spending time with her.

Police collected CCTV footage and information regarding the taxi he booked and the time he left the service flat on Tuesday.

The defendant left the service office at 8.19 am on Tuesday.

Previously, police suspected that the killer spent the whole day in a rented room with his lover’s body and then went out in cold blood and disappeared.

It turns out that the man spent two days with the body as Maya and Aarav had booked the service flat last Saturday. The murder is suspected to have occurred at midnight on Sunday.

Maya was working in a private firm and the police collected CCTV footage of Maya and Aarav entering the service flat normally on November 23.

Police are investigating whether the killer planned to dismember the body and carry it outside because he spent a day with it.

No other person was seen entering the service flat between 23 November and 26 November on CCTV footage.

There has been no official statement from the police department yet.
