3 limited-edition bourbons return to New Holland brewpubs

NETHERLANDS, MI – Dragon’s Milk Origin Toasted, Origin Maple and Origin Honey are returning to New Holland brewpubs and tasting rooms on Saturday, November 30, with bottles expected to sell out quickly.

Customers who arrive before the doors open at 9 a.m. will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the bottles they wish to purchase. When the tickets run out, so do the bottles. Sales start at 10 am

Origin Toasted is a semiannual offering that is aged for five years and then finished in toasted barrels. This year, New Holland is releasing Origin Toasted in three different batches: 2024E – Backyard Bonfire, 2024F – Always Ask About the Dessert Menu, and 2024G – Americana.

Origin Toasted is priced at $89.99 and will be available exclusively at: New Holland beer bars In Holland, Grand Rapids and Battle Creek.

Backyard Bonfire features tasting notes of cinnamon swirl bread and cast iron sourdough and is rated at 118.7 proof, according to a statement from New Holland.

It is stated that the 114.4 version of the Always Ask Dessert Menu contains notes of honey butter, vanilla bean, caramelized sugar and glazed fruit.

Americana, at 118.3 proof, has notes of caramel, bubble gum, cherry pie filling, and caramel corn.

Released annually, Origin Honey Barrel is aged in ex-bourbon barrels with honey-soaked staves. The resulting batch comes in at 117.5 proof. Bottles retail for $99.99.

Released every six months, Origin Maple Barrel is aged in freshly emptied maple syrup barrels, creating a 110-proof bourbon with notes of apple, maple syrup, cinnamon spice and a hint of smoke. Bottles sell for $89.99.

Publications are part of New Holland Muzzle Impact 2024It runs through December 2 and will feature special barrel-aged beer and whiskey offerings at all of New Holland’s beer bars and tasting rooms.
