Oakland man accused of sexually abusing girl since she was 12

OAKLAND — An Oakland man is accused of harassing a girl for years; The crimes came to light when the victim broke into his mother’s home to sexually assault her, police said.

Geremias Lopez, 19, was charged with 15 felonies, including lewd conduct with a child, meeting with a minor to commit a sex crime, unlawful sexual intercourse and residential burglary. Lopez is in the Santa Rita Jail, with bail set at $1.2 million, and will appear in court for a hearing on December 10.
