Man convicted of assault and weapons offenses wanted on arrest warrant

Victoria police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man with assault and weapons convictions who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failing to comply with conditions of release.

Colin Monkman, 30, is believed to be in Victoria and is known to frequent the Victoria West and Burnside area of ​​the city centre.

Monkman is described as 6 feet tall, of medium height, with black hair and brown eyes, and has tattoos on his face and neck, including a teardrop under his right eye and the letter “M” under his left eye.

He was last seen downtown wearing a red T-shirt, black pants, black hoodie, black jacket and brown shoes.

Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 911. If you have information on his whereabouts, call Victoria Police at 250-995-7654 ext 1.
