Minneapolis’ Stone Arch Bridge closes downtown in December for construction

A portion of the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis will close from the first week of December until spring 2025 due to an ongoing construction project.

  • Southbound cyclist’s detour: From SE 6th Ave. to SE 4th St. to Central Ave./Third Ave. Bridge, S. 2nd St. to Portland Ave., W. River Pkwy.
