Traverse City Police investigating sexual assault claim in The Pines – 9&10 News

The Traverse City Police Department (TCPD) said they are investigating an alleged sexual assault in or around The Pines.

On Sunday, November 17, at 3:28 a.m., TCPD responded to Munson Medical Center to begin an investigation into a criminal sexual assault that allegedly occurred at an unknown time between November 6 and 13.

A 39-year-old Traverse City man reported being forced or lured to The Pines after experiencing vehicle trouble near the 800 block of S Division St. The incident is an open investigation and is currently being investigated by the Traverse City Police Department Detective Bureau. . Currently this is an isolated incident.
