Woman who stabbed her 84-year-old mother to death on Long Island was charged: SCPD

DIX HILLS, NY (PIX11) – A woman has been charged with stabbing her mother at a Long Island home on Wednesday, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

According to authorities, officers were called to a home on Carman Court in Dix Hills around 9 p.m. 84-year-old Josephine Bekatoros was found stabbed to death in her home.

Bekatoros’ daughter, 51-year-old Diana Bekatoros, was arrested at her home on Center Boulevard in Long Island City in connection with the stabbing, police said.

Diana Bekatoros was charged with murder. He will be referred to the courthouse on Thursday.
