Bridgeton man arrested in botched burglary attempt

55-year-old Kevin Jones was also found to be in possession of drugs during his arrest. He was charged with attempted burglary, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He is being held in the Cumberland County jail.

Police responded to the 400 block of Irving Avenue around 12:15 a.m. for a report of an attempted burglary. Police said Jones tried to break into the home but was unsuccessful. He was found and arrested a short time later.
