Raid on Churches in Shillong: A Shocking Case of Theft

Shillong: Two churches in the city were looted in the last few days. Money and other valuables were stolen from the Grotto church in the Laitumkhrah area of the city in the early hours of Tuesday. The next morning thieves broke into the Unitarian church in Madan Laban. The headman of Madan Laban and the president of the Unitarian church and others flocked to the church this morning after the events came to light. Separate cases have been registered with the police in connection with both the theft cases. The investigation continues.
