16-year-old boy charged with attempted murder after fight in St Ann’s

The boy will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after a man suffered “serious stab wounds” during a fight in Nottingham.

Police were called to St Ann’s Way in St Ann’s at around 23:00 GMT on Sunday following reports of an argument between two men.

Nottinghamshire Police said the victim, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
