Female Cincinnati School Teacher Accused of Texting Young Student Naked and Engaging in Sexual Activity with Him on Campus

Now an old St. A Xavier High School employee has been indicted on multiple counts of sexual assault, accused of having inappropriate sexual intercourse with a student.

Emily Nutley faces six counts of sexual assault, according to an indictment filed Monday. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

Nutley Allegedly Started Sending Explicit Messages to the Student After School Hours

According to Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers, everything allegedly happened in the fall of 2023 on Nutley St. It took place while I was working as a teacher/educator at Xavier High School.

Nutley is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student who was assigned to a program he supervised to help students struggling with academics.

Powers alleges that Nutley and the student exchanged messages hours later, including Nutley sending nude photos and “sexually charged messages.”

The texting later turned into a physical relationship between the couple. According to Powers, in mid-November 2023, Powers alleges Nutley engaged in sexual intercourse with the student on multiple occasions; at least one of them while on campus.

It is alleged that Nutley had sexual intercourse with the victim after hours spent in his office at the school. When the victim tried to stop the encounters, Nutley continued texting her, Powers said. “This is completely unacceptable and reprehensible behavior by an adult towards a minor. This child needed help and guidance, but instead found an adult seeking to fulfill his deviant sexual desires. Nutley Was Fired Following Allegations, School Statement

St. Xavier High School fired Nutley when the criminal investigation began.

The school released a statement Monday, saying: “We appreciate the unwavering commitment of our faculty, staff, and administration to the safety, well-being, and dignity of every student entrusted to our care. We believe this case is an isolated incident.”
