Troy woman charged with burglary and possession of stolen property

TROY — A local woman faces burglary and possession of stolen property charges after Vermont State Police responded to a home break-in in Troy on Oct. 7.

Around 6:50 p.m., authorities located 68-year-old Kim Richardson on Loop Rd. He was called to his home at .

According to the investigation, 38-year-old Nicole Richardson illegally entered the residence and took the lawnmower.

The stolen items were recovered and later returned to their rightful owner.

Troy resident Nicole Richardson was given an arraignment to appear in Orleans Superior Court on Nov. 12 to face charges related to the incident.
