Man arrested for allegedly raping 3-year-old girl in Jigawa

Jigawa State police have arrested 18-year-old Khamisu Ibrahim for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl in Malam Madori Local Government Area of ​​the state.

The command spokesperson, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the arrest in a statement to DAILY POST.

He said the incident took place on Tuesday at Garin Malam Sanda village in Malam Madori Local Government Area.

According to the statement: “At around 10:15 on Tuesday, Suleiman Beshari of Garin Malam Sanda village, M/Madori LGA, reported to M/Madori Division that a person named Khamisu Ibrahim arrived at around 20:10 on Monday at the same address for sexual intercourse with his three-year-old nephew.” There was also information.”

DSP Shiisu said that upon receiving the report, detectives attached to the M/Madori Division took swift action and managed to arrest the suspect.

He said the victim was taken to the Sexual Assault Referral Center in Dutse for medical examination.

The police spokesman stated that the suspect confessed his crime during interrogation.

It was stated that the suspect will be referred to the courthouse after his procedures.
