LONDON:

A man has been arrested after England Test captain Ben Stokes’ home was burgled during his tour of Pakistan, police said on Friday.

Stokes said his wife and two children were at home in County Durham, north-east England, on the evening of October 17 when “masked” thieves broke in and took valuables.

Durham Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft. He has since been released on bail.

Stokes was in Pakistan for a Test series when the incident occurred.
