Four family members lost their lives in an accident in Manoharabad-Telangana today

The victims were identified as Anjaneyulu (35), his sister-in-law Latha (26), his two daughters Sahasra (5) and Shanvi (3).

According to police, farmers in the area had spread paddy for drying on one side of the road in Potharam, forcing vehicles to use only the other side of the road. It is said that the accident was caused by the tanker driver driving carelessly on one side of the road. The driver fled the scene without stopping his vehicle after the accident.

Police said Anjaneyulu was going to drop Latha and her daughters at the bus terminal. While the driver fled the scene, passersby and surrounding citizens staged a protest demanding the immediate arrest of the driver. Relatives of the victims did not allow the police to take the bodies to the hospital for autopsy. However, the police convinced them and assured them to take strict action against the accused. Eyewitnesses said that the driver’s carelessness and carelessness caused the accident.
