Newburgh man charged with burglary in Hopkins County

HOPKINS CO., Ky. (WFIE) – A 19-year-old Newburgh man is facing charges in Hopkins County following a recent burglary.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation began Oct. 21 in the 400 block of S. Robinson Street in Earlington.

Deputies said Branden Vincent was named as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest a short time later.

On October 24, Vincent was located and taken into custody in Warrick County.

Vincent was extradited to the Hopkins County Jail on November 1.

He is being held there on $20,000 cash bond. The investigation continues.
