Rape Accused from J&K; Six Arrested for Killing Man Due to Old Rivalry; Teen Hanged Himself and More

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An escaped accused in the rape case was arrested by Lasudia police station personnel from Bypass Road on Saturday. The defendant was arrested for allegedly raping a woman working in a marriage organization company, on the promise of marriage, one and a half years ago. He has been on the run ever since.

Lasudia police station in-charge Taresh Kumar Soni said that a case was registered against Raju alias Jishan, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, following a complaint from a woman in June 2023. The woman had complained that she was working while married. when the event company met the accused and the latter promised to marry her.

He later went back on his word. He has been on the run since then and the police had offered a reward of Rs 3,000 for his arrest. The police were searching for him when they received information that the accused was going to Maharashtra from Ajmer and would pass through the Bypass Road.

Lasudia police station team cordoned off the area and managed to arrest the person from the said place. He allegedly confessed his crime and his interrogation continues.

Six People Arrested for Killing Man Due to Old Rivalry

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Six people were arrested in connection with the murder of a tractor driver over an old rivalry in Gandhi Nagar area on Saturday. Police claimed that the suspect was arrested 24 hours after the incident. They are being questioned and one of their accomplices is being sought.

Rajesh Jadhav, a resident of Arihant Nagar, was found murdered at an isolated place in Gandhi Nagar area on Friday, DCP (zone-1) Vinod Kumar Meena said. Traces of assault were found on his head. During the investigation, the police identified and detained some people. They allegedly confessed to their crime.

They were last seen with the deceased. The accused have been identified as Anil, Pankaj, Deepak, Devendra, Krishna, Rahul and Sameer and the police are searching for him, police said. In the preliminary investigation, it was determined that the suspect called the deceased to a deserted place on the night of October 31, attacked him with a heavy object and fled the scene.

The defendant allegedly killed the man due to an old rivalry with him. The two-wheeler used in the crime was also seized from the suspect. It was stated that some of the defendants were involved in criminal activities in the region.

Teen Hanged Himself

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old youth hanged himself within the MIG police station limits on Friday. The reason for the extreme decision has not yet been determined. However, he had been treated for tuberculosis about two months ago. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Kundale, a resident of Vikas Nagar. Family members said Kuldeep was originally from Sanawad and lived with his brother. His friend found him hanging. Kuldeep had been treated for tuberculosis two months ago.

Woman Ended Her Life Due to Illness

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In another incident, a 45-year-old woman allegedly ended her life by hanging herself due to illness within Tejaji Nagar police station limits. The family was preparing for a religious ceremony when they took that radical step.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Suraj Bai, a resident of Morod. When he entered a room, family members were busy preparing for worship. Later, when his young son went to look for him, he found him hanging. He was working in a factory and had recently lost his job due to illness and was reported to be distressed.
