Authorities investigating drowning in Durban North

Emergency services said bathers at Glenashley Beach brought the 48-year-old man’s body to shore last night.

KZN VIP spokesman Gareth Naidoo said they were called to the scene.

“Unfortunately, the victim showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead by paramedics.

“Reports indicate that the person was missing from the early hours of the days and circumstances leading up to the incident, which cannot be confirmed until the police investigation is completed.”
