Marion County Officer experiencing medical emergency

MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Marion County Sheriff’s officer suffered a medical emergency Sunday morning and is currently receiving medical care.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for prayers for Brandon Gore, who suffered a medical emergency at his home Sunday morning.

Gore most recently served as bailiff for Marion County Summary Couty and served the county for many years as a police officer in Mullins and at the county level.

“Brandon is one of the most humble, kind-hearted and generous men we know,” the sheriff’s office says.

They also say: “We love you, my friend, and we are behind you all the way.
