Florida was unable to maintain its halftime lead and lost 34-20 to the Bulldogs without quarterback DJ Lagway.

Warner attempts a deep pass on fourth-and-17, but the pass is broken up by a Georgia defender with 1:18 left. This will do that for the Gators.

The Bulldogs’ offense became nearly unstoppable in the second half, taking a two-possession lead on Dwight Phillips Jr.’s 4-yard touchdown run. Georgia led 34-20 with 3:03 left in the fourth quarter.

As Warner attempts a play pass that is intercepted by C.J. Allen, Florida makes a play before giving the ball back to Georgia. It’s not ideal.

Georgia drives right down the field and scores with Beck throwing a 10-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Lovett. The Bulldogs advanced 75 yards on seven plays in 3:28 of game time.

Florida puts Georgia on third-and-7, but Beck finds Arian Smith for a 34-yard gain with 5:28 left in the fourth quarter.

What a move for the Gators as Warner hit Elijhah Badger on the first play of the possession for a 26-yard gain before reaching Georgia’s 13-yard line following a personal foul on the Bulldogs.

Ja’Kobi Jackson then hit four consecutive field goals and hit a 15-yard touchdown run to tie the game at Florida’s 20th.

Florida forces a three-pointer and has another chance to tie the game with a touchdown on that possession.

The Gators take over with good field position at their own 45-yard line.

The Gators offense continues to struggle in the second half, punting the ball after three points.

Florida will probably need a break here.

Three plays later, Georgia took a 20–13 lead on Beck’s 22-yard field goal by running back Cash Jones. Florida will need to build some momentum on its next road trip with Warner.

The Gators set up for a 50-yard field goal, but a poor kick caused the ball to fly over the owner’s head and be recovered by Georgia.

Florida had a chance to take a 16-13 lead, but Georgia took over at Florida’s 36-yard line on a momentum swing.

The Bulldogs score their first touchdown of the game on a 2-yard field goal from Nate Frazier, capping an eight-play, 83-yard drive that took 4:10 of the game clock.

We’re all tied up in Jacksonville at 1 p.m.

The Gators increase the pressure, Grayson Howard reaches Beck untouched and converts Beck’s shot, which is deflected and stopped by Jack Pyburn. Florida has three interceptions on the afternoon and looks to take advantage of the turnover with points here.

Warner’s inability to complete passes on third and fourth forced Florida to take the first possession of the second half.

Florida coach Billy Napier said in a halftime interview with Holly Rowe that Lagway suffered a hamstring injury while being carted off the field. Napier also said that the injury was important and stated that Lagway could miss a long time.

“He’s got a hamstring,” Napier said on air. “He’s a pretty big kid. But he’s a tough kid. I can promise you one thing; this team will definitely be behind him.”

The Gators drive 40 yards in seven plays and score a 53-yard field goal just before halftime. A tremendous attack by Florida, who took back three points and led 13-6 at halftime.

Florida almost made Beck’s interception for the third time in the first half, but could not hold on to Beck’s errant throw. Georgia kicked a field goal from 53 yards with 30 seconds left in the first half.

Florida forces another three and puts Warner up 10-3 with less than two minutes left in the second half.

Florida’s five-star freshman phenom left the game after suffering a left leg injury and was carted off the field in obvious pain. It was a tough blow indeed for the Gators, who were already without Graham Mertz this season due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear.

Florida replaced Lagway with Aidan Warner, a redshirt freshman from Yale. Florida went three-and-out and punted after Lagway was injured.

Beck can’t escape the pressure without his receivers open, getting sacked on third-and-5. Georgia punts and Florida regains possession at the Gators’ 25-yard line.

Florida is unable to take full advantage of the turnover as it is held to a field goal. But the Gators led 10-3 on the 32-yard kick.

Beck made an interception on Georgia’s next possession, bringing the total to 10 in his last five outings. Florida takes control with good field position at its own 49-yard line.

Lagway found Aidan Mizell for a 43-yard field goal to give Florida a 7-3 lead. The former five-star quarterback dropped a dime on this game.

The interception issues continue as Beck throws a pass intended for London Humphreys into coverage twice, but the pass is intercepted. Beck now has nine interceptions in his last five games.

Georgia forces a three-and-out and now regains possession with good field position at its own 27-yard line.

The Bulldogs drive 83 yards in 13 plays, with 6:15 remaining on the game clock, but fail to capitalize on a touchdown and stall in the red zone. Georgia kicker Peyton Woodring converted a 23-yard field goal to give Georgia a 3-0 lead with 2:10 left in the first quarter.

Georgia allows a first down but stops Florida on the next three plays and forces a punt. Bulldogs take possession at their own 12 yard line.

Georgia is unable to convert on third-and-4, but Beck gets running back Cash Jones open deep downfield on a wheel route but knocks down the pass. The Bulldogs attempt to force the Gators offsides into a fourth down, but delay play and punt.

Florida and Lagway take over at their own 13-yard line.

Florida starts the game and the Gators-Bulldogs take the field in Jacksonville.

Georgia starts its offense.
