Nora Fatehi says all girls look the same today: They can’t dress me like Sara, Janhvi

Actor Nora Fatehi recently talked about her unique look. While speaking at a film festival, she emphasized the importance of dressing differently because most women in the industry today look the same. Nora, who is known for her curvy body and dancing skills, shared that she has instructed her stylists not to dress her like Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan or Ananya Panday.

In a conversation with former journalist Rajeev Masand at the Melbourne Indian Film Festival, Nora talked about the looks of leading women in the film industry and their similar ‘aesthetics’. “My aesthetic is the same as most girls in our industry right now. We’re starting to look the same. I don’t know how that happened,” she said.

The 32-year-old woman explained that her body requires dressing a certain way and that she cannot follow the trends that other women in the industry follow. “Today, when I have the strength to speak, I tell my stylists, ‘This is too much’. The way they dress Ananya (Panday), Sara (Ali Khan) or Janhvi (Kapoor), somehow they can’t dress me the same way,” she said.

Nora added that she asked her team not to rush towards trends and focus on how a particular outfit would look on her. “My body is not the same. There’s a lot of conflict where I have to impose that on stylists and directors because they will make certain clothes and say, ‘Others are wearing this.’ And I’m like, ‘I understand that, but the others unfortunately don’t look like me when I wear it,'” she explained.

The actor takes part as a judge in special dance shows and reality shows. Nora was also recently seen in Kunal Kemmu’s film Madgaon Express. She is now gearing up for her Telugu debut with Matka, which also stars Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The movie is scheduled to be released on November 14.
