RIP: Deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of a much-loved stalwart from the Tipperary GAA club.

Roscrea GAA have paid a heartfelt tribute to club stalwart Tara Rowan, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

“We learned of Tara Rowan’s death with deep sadness,” Roscrea’s social media accounts said.

Tara was a very active member of our club and was a club volunteer all her life and was present at the CĂșl Camps and all underage blitz where a cup of tea was always available for everyone present.

He always had a smile on his face and would bring joy and laughter to everyone around him.

Tara was a huge supporter of all Roscrea teams and would travel around the country shouting at the red and whites. He was very proud that his sons and daughter wore the Roscrea jersey.

Tara brilliantly took on the role of Tina Turner in the Lip Sync Fundraiser club a few years ago and was “Simply the Best.”

The club extends its condolences to his sons Liam, Luke and Conor, his daughter Kellie, brothers Michael and Cronan and all his extended family and friends.
