‘Sexual predator’ accused of raping and sexually assaulting children in Bensalem: police

A tip from a “vigilante group” led to the arrest of a Pennsylvania man accused of raping and sexually assaulting children, police said.

Keith Page, 67, is charged with Rape of a Child Under 13, Child Sexual Abuse, Corruption of Minors and related crimes.

Bensalem police said they became aware of Page after receiving a call from “Predator Poachers,” a group that confronts alleged predators on camera “to promote their social media pages.”

One member of the group pretended to be an 11-year-old girl while chatting with Page for several weeks.

Page acknowledged the girl’s age, reportedly saying, “Age is just a number.”

Police said Page told the girl not to tell her mother before sharing explicit photos and agreeing to meet her for sex.

Before calling the police, authorities said the “Predatory Poachers” went to Page’s home and confronted him on camera.

Page was detained on $2 million bail after the police admitted that he had shared sexually explicit photos and had sexually explicit conversations with the young girl.

Police also warned about groups such as “Predatory Poachers”.

“Such online encounters have escalated into violence in the past and have even led to the person involved committing suicide. The Bensalem County Police Department does not condone such confrontations and urges anyone with information about a possible child predator to call police in advance. To protect the safety of all involved and the prosecutorial integrity of these investigations make contact.”
