Bond set for ‘active supporter, organizer and participant’ in takeover of Cleveland streets

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Bond has been set at $50,000 for a 20-year-old man arrested in connection with a Sept. 29 street raid.

Tyrique Loury pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday morning.

Officers with the Gang Impact Unit and the Fourth Precinct Violent Crime Reduction Team helped arrest the Garfield Heights man on Oct. 23.

The ministry said the suspect was believed to be “an active supporter, organizer and participant of street raids.”

Officers confirmed he was arrested for aggravated rioting, tampering with evidence, disrupting public service, obstructing official business, failure to comply and possession of criminal tools.
