How did Hope suddenly fall in love with Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Hope admitted that she was in love with Carter. She calls him the man of her dreams. This is shocking considering she was in a relationship with Thomas earlier this year. What caused this shocking change? The Bold and the Beautiful?

Dropping the L-Bomb

“I love you,” Hope (Annika Noelle) tells Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in the Wednesday, Nov. 6, episode. He was the first person to confess his feelings for her. Up to this point, Hope didn’t want to rush her relationship with Carter. He didn’t want to make the same mistakes he had made in the past by jumping into bed so quickly.

Hope claimed that she had never been in anyone’s corner before. Even while working at Forrester Creations, he always felt lonely. Carter told her he wouldn’t let her fall, and Hope said she felt safe in his arms.

That’s when Carter confessed his feelings for Hope. He said he was in love with her. Hope told him that she was in love with him too. For the first time in his life he finally felt seen. This isn’t like Hope suddenly falling in love with someone new. He always took his time before saying the “L” word.

Love… Or Lust?

Hope always had the support of her mother and the Logans. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) sided with her regarding her entire family. She wanted a man like Thomas who could offer her an indivisible heart. But he couldn’t give him what he wanted.

Hope pursued Finn (Tanner Novlan) even though he was married to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She fell in love with Carter in just a few weeks. Hope’s love life got even more complicated. This raises the question: Does she really love Carter?

Or is this Hope’s way of seducing the COO and using him as revenge? He just lost his job Forrester Creations. Carter assured Hope that he would fight for her. He also plans to take revenge on the company. This could be his way of getting his groove back.
